Native American History of The Manistee River Valley
June 4, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
FreeEvan Spoor: “The Manistee River Valley has been the home to indigenous populations for thousands of years. Long before the Mesick family arrived here and settled on the land, the Odawa and their predecessors called this area home. For the past two years the history and lifestyle of the Odawa and their predecessors have been the focus of independent research. Hours of research that opened my eyes to the people that came before us. Join me in unveiling the lost history of the Manistee River.
